Last night I caved into my cravings lol, not meat, but I had curly fries. That unleashed the beast. I have been craving all day, but not meat, just fried foods. But, I haven’t given in today because I’m too nervous.
So like I said, I’ve been fighting a cold and my body has been incredibly weak. It’s hard to know if it’s due to the diet or due to the cold. Today is worse than yesterday, but, though I’m weak; I’m not tired. I haven’t had this much energy in so long. To go a whole day, being pretty active, going to work out, cleaning and painting all day... I’m pretty impressed.
I painted some free paintings for my old coworker, I got them done today. Nothing amazing just a few quick paintings.
I have my second interview tomorrow afternoon, so I’m trying to condition myself to workout in the mornings but my body hasn’t been letting me( probably because I’m sick), and I also haven’t gotten my voice back. So far, that little tiny demon in my head has been getting a bit quieter. Hopefully it stays quiet and doesn’t cause my anxiety to trigger anytime soon. I haven’t been feeling overwhelmed at all. Just small goals that I can achieve. Been trying to let my mind not think of long term with this, or try to have an over-achiever goal (I tend to do the MOST)that could cause me stress. I read in that How Not to Die book that veganism has been known to reduce depression and anxiety. We will see if I’m one of those. Allegedly it reduces cramps too and if that turns out to be true, I’ll do this forever.
Omg I forgot to show you breakfast lol. I woke up HUNGRY, like starving. I also woke up with a nosebleed but that’s besides the point lol. But yea I had a large breakfast. Corn,flaxseed,buckwheat,quinoa and whole grain cereal with unsweetened almond milk and my fav berries. Then a vegan sausage patty with sautéed white mushrooms and a smoothie (raspberries, blueberries, strawberry, orange, seedless red grapes, cranberries, raw honey, lemon juice, and almond milk) that was like an energy booster.
My workout tonight was tough. I pushed through though. My legs are more sore than usual, my whole body is. I’ve done a good job on calculating my macros and micros so hopefully it is strictly because I am battling the plague. Goodnight all, I will check in tomorrow night.
